So this was the last cake for our Course 2 class. We used all of the flower techniques we learned the past few weeks on this cake. We also learned the basketweave technique. It's easier than it looks, just take patience. I gave this cake to my nieces in Metairie just before Christmas. They used it as a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas morning. I thought that was a really nice idea and a better use of the cake than I could come up with.
